Tantra U

You will be guided through a series of experiential exercises for you to learn consent in an easy, conscious way. There will be practices that can be used in your personal or professional life. No prior experience is necessary. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, you can start where you are and find new levels of awareness.

The Reality of life is this: Nobody can be you better than you. In this workshop, we will offer a space of FULL permission for you to do you. You are the center of your universe so you may as well make it amazing. 

Explore the 5 aspects of Tantra: Mantra, Yantra, Pranayama, Mudra and Asana. You will get to explore each and understand the important role of Sexuality and Magic in Tantra as we weave and loom all aspects of life together. This is a solid foundational course designed for all levels. 

In this workshop, we receive the Tibetan alchemical practice of Tonglen to tune into the powerful, unmutable frequencies of the heart.  We open and strengthen this field through vocal toning and gentle breathwork.  

The Sanskrit name for the heart chakra is Anahata, which translates to “unstruck”. The definition of unstruck reminds us that when fully activated, Anahata Chakra allows us to stay in pure love regardless of any hurt or fear we experience.

With an open heart chakra we can connect to the matrix of life in a deliciously intimate way and access this “unstruck” field where challenging emotions are alchemically transformed.

With practice, this technique will allow you to transmute energy, heal those around you and find peace anywhere.

I feel in my heart a deep sadness when I think about people living their lives with no pleasure. To live a whole lifetime, get to the end and have experienced little or no real expansive pleasure. This feels to me like such a waste and a missed opportunity. When I say pleasure I do not mean only sexual pleasure.  I mean all the flavours of pleasure that are possible including safety, mental and emotional pleasure, playfulness and sensuality.

I do not believe that pleasure is frivolous or should be an added optional extra in life. I believe it is medicine, prayer, rejuvenating, nourishing and essential. To be clear I am not supporting a pleasure bypass, to fully live we must also welcome all the offerings of life such as sadness, anger and grief. 

 
This will be primarily a talk and discussion space with some experiential practices.  We will focus on the topic of  'how can I have a more authentic relationship with my pleasure and my sexuality?' We will explore what gets in the way of fulfilling pleasure, sex, intimacy & relationships. I will share information, ideas, questions, potential models/theories and the common challenges many of us have with pleasure and sexuality.

As a group and in smaller breakout pairs/groups, we will explore some enquires, questions, embodied experiences and meditations to bring awareness to where you are at right now with your pleasure & sexuality. We will also get curious as to what may lie underneath or be in the way of our freedom and capacity to access pleasure, sexual expression and deeper connection to ourselves and others. This session is a new creation, so we will follow the energy of where the group and the flow want to take us.
