Pity Party

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Besides being a seasoned Relationship Counselor and Clinical Sexologist Dr. Martha Tara Lee is also a certified Laughter Yoga leader. In Laughter Yoga, we recognise that the body doesn't know the difference between real and fake laughter or tears. Healthy people can laugh and cry. We can do what we feel like doing, or we can start to do and our bodies will follow. In its fake it till we make it philosophy, it can be cathartic in releasing what the body needs releasing and for the mind to then follow.

In this laugh-cry pity party session, Dr. Martha Tara Lee will be supporting to work with whatever needs releasing through fake laugh-cry, and perhaps they will become real laugh-cry. There is no need to go into story if you don’t wish to.

There will be break-out rooms for sharing, and emotional support provided. All tears, emotions and laughter are welcomed.
Please come wearing comfortable clothes and do not come with a full stomach. Do have tissue and water on standby next to you.
