Having flow around sex and intimacy with self and others is not a bonus - it’s absolute necessity! Sexual energy is creative energy, if not given adequate expression it manifests itself in compulsive and addictive behaviors or psychiatric symptoms. Sexual power can be creative or deconstructive to self and others. It’s irrepressible, unrelenting and demands some expression. What we do and don’t do with it, determines who and what we become. There’s a common misconception about sexuality and desire diminishing as we age, and this couldn’t be further from the truth. Age alone is no reason to not continue curiously exploring and enjoying sex and intimacy. People who live vibrantly have a healthy sex life. They have this because as they age they feel more embodied through loving their body even more, and they understand their desires and easily express these with empowered communication. I see client after client expressing “stuckness” around desire, sexual energy, communication and intimacy. Many of us have been exposed to sexual taboo, limiting beliefs, and are not practiced in expressing our sexual desires. I was drawn to this path for my own embodied healing and this naturally inspired my passion to share this with others. As someone who often experienced pain/discomfort during sexual penetration, lacked understanding of my sexual desires, and was not practiced in communicating my needs; I’m excited to share this piece with you! It’s made a huge difference in my world, and feedback from clients expressing the difference it’s making for them, and their intimate relationships lights me up and inspires me to share more.
